ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Joe Scanlan is a real estate investor and the owner of Beacon Builders and Property Management in Acton, Massachusetts. As both a property owner and a general contractor, Joe has seen first hand the benefits of applying the ideas presented in this book to real estate holdings.

As a seasoned expert in property renovation and management, Joe works regularly with clients who desire to maximize the value of their current homes and to acquire properties with significant appreciation potential. He offers them advice on strategic real estate investments and helps them buy, sell, rent and flip properties in accordance to current market trends.

When not working on his or his clients' real estate, Joe spends most of his time with his wife, Rebecca, and their young family.
